Only for the Rich need apply....
Sony Fans especially the Fanboys/girls are blinded by their faith ( is it now a religion too?, a cult following?... quite possibly ) in Sony's judgements.
Overly good but the timing destroyed everything, Overly priced, Overly not enough games, Overly expensive Blu-Ray dvd movies, Overly taking a lot longer to get the costs down, Overly anticipating the release of more cheaper brands with more features included, Overly competing with a whole bunch of dvd players/movie discs that are way far more cheaper...
... for the year 2007 - GranTurismo HD!!! = Technical achievement and superiority in CGI Graphics for games ( racing - sim/arcade ) ---- Forza2!! = achievement for most Improved Physics, most number of vehicles in a game ( racing - sim/arcade )
STOP being ARROGANT anymore and LISTEN Sony, bring the price of the PS3 DOWN NOW ! ! !
The Most Wanted Game.
This so very old, came straight out of a PS1 era... The dirt/mud has been too exagerated. Sorry Sega but that's the truth.
Nothing beats Silent Hill on the PS1. Just imagine this, you are playing with only a torch in one hand and a crowbar/pistol on the other and then the radio crackles to warn you of an impending danger ahead... The soundscape is stunning for such a game/game console that's not even comparable to the power of a PC. Plus it features some of the most creepiest deformities you could dream of.
Think over there they seem to prefer the handheld more than anything. PSP, DS... Smaller is the norm, even the WII as a unit is dimensionally shorter than the competition. Microsoft - if you want to make it big in Japan, try releasing a handheld. Take note.
There seems to be something missing from the design of Lara Croft - facially and physically, I can't figure it out, but technically it's like her design was last-gen compared to like the other game characters. I know they have their own themes to match the story/setting but still... I do believe that they can improve on it some more. This sounds a bit too much, but by putting in a story that concerns some sort of conspiracy theory would really build the gameplay some more credible puzzles for...
Love the in-car shots from the truck, wonder how the physics of these beheamoths would be like? Everyday just gets better and better for this game, hope they release it soon.
Lists are for demented people. And demented people can't even sell crap. To Sony - if you want it to sell, BRING THE PRICE DOWN NOW ALREADY AND NOT WAIT FOR SUMMER.
These add-on intercoolers actually defeats the main purpose of the consoles' fans to expel hot air out of the vents. What they do is cover it some more and force-feed air inside mixed with the hot air that's suppose to come-out but can't, because what you'ved done is blocked it. Don't believe the crap that they advertise on the box with all the temperature spots being cooled. It's all bull... It's much better to have a small desk fan next to the console.
It is still so EXPENSIVE, give us a break now, will you Sony?!! I really want to buy a PS3 but... for AU$1,000.00 excluding games!!!, also come-out with those force-feedback control pads now, and hurry-up with more titles. Give us something, a deal or some sort so it's a win-win situation between you and your customers...
That is such a bummer... Now that I'ved been treated to so much eye-candy on the PGR3 Series with it's stunning in-car shots ( this is the benchmark on which other - racing sim/arcade should follow... ) as well as Test Drive Unlimited, GTR2 - on PC and the up-coming DIRT: Colin McRae. This has now been one of my basis if ever I was to buy a certain racing game ( don't really care if it was a sim/arcade ). Also that this type of technology is getting more cheaper and a little bit easier for t...
This is it?, what a waste of time. No ( Rumble Roses, DOA - Xbox ),( Final Fantasy girls - PS3 ),( Resident Evil - Nintendo ) and ( Half-Life 2 - PC )...
The More the Merrier...
I have to say that PGR3 actually has the better camera angles to offer, plus it does look somewhat similar to Forza2 which is the newer of the two games. It's only in the lighting that they differ, Forza2 has that forced-lighting look onto the streets/cars while PGR3 has the more natural feel. Have'nt played Forza2 yet, so I can't comment on the physics - but from all the stuff that have been posted here seems to say is that is has the more realistic set-up and it also has more cars and a lot...
Does it have any in-car camera angle like the one in PGR3 where you get to see out of the interior of the car? The only thing that's really noticable though is the forced lighting on the streets and onto the cars., or the tellie has had it's brightness set a bit too high?... Game seems good.
This is bloody awesome! Fantastic gameplay - the in-game video that they'ved shown here is tops!, like a Tomb Raider male counterpart but better in every way. The fun-factor, the moves, the background physics, the motion control...
